The mighty United States Air Force B1 (Lancer) bombers made a noisy return to the West Country as a staging post for exercises over the Czech Republic. The NATO exercise is to get crews from different countries working together in a battlefield scenario, and involves a five hour round trip from the long Fairford runway.
