A reflection on 30 years ago.

We have been celebrating 30 years with silence and monochrome memories. £30 years ago the Railworks shut, and the last shift departed and hooty stopped calling us to work. Just a small reminder of 26th March 1986: And the rather wet but colourful celebrations thirty years on.

The community radio station Swindon 105.5 FM was presented the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service (the MBE for the voluntary sector) by the Duke of Kent during a visit to the town.
