Swindon Station had a retro moment yesterday as platform 3 was transformed into what could be a film set, when Royal Scot stopped for 10 minutes, as part of its tour round the south of England.
The recently rebuilt loco, a challenger to the GWR Kings superiority, was on its way back to Horsham from Bristol Temple Meads.
