After Swindon Council contractors painted an arrow in the wrong direction last year, now they have painted yellow lines up a narrow alleyway in Newhall Street.
The alley is so narrow that you can just cycle up it let alone get a car along it. The Peel P50 car which measures up at 41 inches wide may just fit up the first part of the alley but all other cars can’t even enter the alley.
A Swindon Borough Council spokesman, said: “Local residents have asked us to deal with illegal parking in alleyways, but it seems that our contractors forgot just how big cars actually are when they painted this one. We will be taking it up with them.”
