Swindon Borough Council is announcing the results of a competition designed to attract articles from young people suitable for inclusion in the new SBC web site: thedockswindon.co.uk. A first cash prize of £200 donated by the PCC for Swindon and Wiltshire is just one of several prizes to be announced. 15 entries were received and

Duck was on the menu at the Lalbagh on Wednesday night but not in the curry. Mayor Andrew Bennett did the honours as the Old Town Rotary Club launched this years charity Duck Race; the biggest in the country. Three charities will benefit from the money raised. Gallery of the night:
