Lighting the way to Christms – Swindon Town Centre lights are turned on.
Swindon plunged headlong into Christmas with their big lights switch on, where Aston Merrygold alongside the Wyvern Theatre’s Sleeping Beauty panto star’s, Michelle Collins and CBeebies Chris Jarvis pressed the button to turn on the Town Centre lights.

The Old Town Business Association put on a spectacular stage show featuring entertainment and stalls before the big switch on, which saw Wood Street and beyond transformed into a twinkling wonderland. The festivities also rolled into Joiner Lane where Santa’s Grotto was located, as well as a number of other stalls for families and children
